Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker Patch 6.05 has introduced a colorful and exciting new Miscellaneous Duty for players to delve into — The Excitatron 6000. This instanced Dungeon is a gold mine for crafters, as it contains some of the rarest materials, including X high-tier Materia, Crystal Clusters, and Cloth of Happiness. On the other hand, those who aren't into crafting in Final Fantasy XIV can still sell the materials for a good deal of Gil at the Market Board or obtain unique Dungeon loot like the Excite-I-Mask headpiece.
Similar to the Aquapolis or The Dungeons Final Fantasy XIV Gil of Lyhe Ghiah, The Excitatron 6000 is a special instance that can only be accessed via Treasure Hunt. To unlock The Excitatron 6000 in Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker, players will need to acquire a Timeworn Kumbhiraskin Map, highly sought-after treasure maps collected from Level 90 gathering nodes. FFXIV fans can find these maps in Labyrinthos, Thavnair, Garlemald, Mare Lamentorum, or Ultima Thule. However, deciphering a Timeworn Kumbhiraskin Map doesn't always guarantee that the FFXIV Dungeon's entrance portal will appear, meaning that adventurers may need to use several maps before being able to enter The Excitatron 6000.

FFXIV gatherers can only obtain one Timeworn Kumbhiraskin Map every 18 hours, but carrying more than one map within one's inventory is possible. It is likely that players will also be able to purchase these rare maps from the player Market Board, albeit at exorbitant prices. Once players have successfully obtained a map, they will need to recruit a company of seven players to join them in fighting off the Level 90 enemies that spawn at the treasure's location. This 8-player party will also be the group that enters The Excitatron 6000 if the portal appears. It's feasible to enter this instanced Dungeon in FFXIV: Endwalker with fewer members than intended, but this decision will require that the players be highly competent to brave the Level 90 Dungeon at a disadvantage.
Excitatron 6000 Rewards in FFXIV: Endwalker.
The Excitatron 6000 is divided into five sections, and each area will contain a treasure chest that spawns enemy mobs upon being opened. To advance to the next chamber, players must choose between two doors. Entering the wrong door will hinder progression, and going through the correct one will grant access to another room. Sometimes a room will spawn with challenges such as harder enemies, but the loot payoff will be more substantial.
After completing The Excitatron 6000 Dungeon in Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker, players have the chance to earn valuable crafting rewards, several in-game achievements, and the following notable rarities:
Archangel Wings: a Fashion Accessory of golden angelic wings.
Pixie Wings: a Fashion Accessory of pink fairy-like wings.
Excite-I-Mask: exclusive headgear from The Cheap FFXIV Gil Excitatron 6000.
Royal Lunatender: the rare golden variant of the Lunatender Minion.
Cloth Of Happiness: crafting material for making the Happiness Glamour set.
